Monday 2nd Nov 2020: Monthly Beer Share at Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Four hardy souls and plenty of variety, some good snacks too! Cheers Mat for the .75 litre bottle of the 2015 version. Moody dark look, huge tanned head on each glass. Malty with dark fruits, sour-semi sweet, brett, bitter. Different and thought provoking.

75cl bottle @ Last Beer Tasting Before Lockdown 2.0, Chez Sophie, Nov 20. Bought by me at Thiriez Brewery, Esquelbecq. Pours a deep hazed brown, light brown bubbles atop. Aroma suggests brett involvement, soy sauce, dark malt. Taste presents woody, malty bark alongside some lovely sweet swirls that suggest some wild organisms have crept in, such as brett. Nice dark malt flourishes. Soy sauce. Interesting but likeable.
