Cutting Tiles is an exploratory series of Double IPAs featuring a range of aromatic single hop varietals brewed with raw local wildflower honey. This new version is dosed with 100% Citra in all kettle, whirlpool and a massive dry hop addition. The honey keeps the body light and drinkable but provides a earthy backbone.

Floral and zesty up front backed up with a nuanced citrus character on the nose that continues straight through in the flavor profile. Pillowy soft mouthfeel, with a restrained bitterness on the finish.

1 pint can, canned 03/19/19. Thanks to Werckmeister! Dark orange, juicy body, with a medium, frothy, off-white head. Beautiful Citra hop aroma of citrus, pine, passion fruit flesh, apricot, peach, some flowers, slight biscuit. Tastes similar, with some more earthy notes, some honey. Medium oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes extremely crisp and fresh, moderate bitter, medium dry, a bit sweet, piney, citric, floral, a bit juicy, with diverse fruits, some honey. Wow, what a beautiful showcase of why Citra is such a great, classic hop variant! Pure Citra hop juice, so juicy, clean and crisp at the same time, with an amazing piney-citric finish how I love it. The honey adds a very fitting, subtle sweet layer. Exactly my taste and so quaffable for the ABV! Score: 9 / 4 / 9 / 5 / 17
