Cutting Tiles is an exploratory series of Double IPAs featuring a range of aromatic single hop varietals brewed with raw local wildflower honey. This new version is dosed with 100% Citra in all kettle, whirlpool and a massive dry hop addition. The honey keeps the body light and drinkable but provides a earthy backbone.

Floral and zesty up front backed up with a nuanced citrus character on the nose that continues straight through in the flavor profile. Pillowy soft mouthfeel, with a restrained bitterness on the finish.

Tall can pours with a murky deep gold body that has copper hues and supports a thin off white head. The aroma offers up grapefruit, mango, cantaloupe, pineapple and a sense of malts. The taste delivers smooth malt and hoppiness flowing into some tropical fruit juiciness and citrus hop bitterness. It then picks up mild hop bitterness that has I spicy dank bitterness around the edges.

Can. Huge thanks to Leighton for this one, massive thank you. Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has a good fine crispness. Thin pale malts, light sweetness. Fabulous spicy orange hops, vibrant and with a touch of tangerine and a whisper of lemon. Spicy fresh orange finish. Spicy tangy fruity linger. It’s not the most complex of DIPAs but it does what it says on the tin and delivers in buckets. Delightful.

Pours clear (sort of), yellow, slight haze. Aroma is fresh and slightly weedy, beautiful grassy feel. Taste is very super balanced, hop and bitter, light bodied - and now it’s only 8,5 abv - yeah, only. Green freshness in a can. Citra bomb, really insanely balanced. Long bitter finish, prickly hop bites surrounding my tongue.

Thanks Zack for the can! Poured into a snifter showing moderately filtered orange with sparse white foam. The nose shows a perfectly blended combination of honey and citrus fruits (pineapple and oranges) The palate is smoothly and moderately carbonated with a full body. Robust flavors of honey, blood oranges, pineapple, and light kiwi. Practically no bitterness on the finish. Extremely well done.
