A golden 4.5% double dry hopped bitter. Only using British hops part of our 'British hops project'. Low bitterness with big aroma and flavours of blackcurrant and orange from cascade and jester hops. This is the first in a series of beers to celebrate the exciting developments and experiments currently underway in British hop growing.

Bottle from the brewery online shop. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Light citrus nose and some malt. Taste is light citrus, light fruit, light malt and brown bread. Not bad.

14th September 2020, Shrewsbury Beer Share gathering with Syrian Supper in Chez Sophie, five in attendance. 500ml bottle, BB 20th Jul 2021; cheers Mat for this new brew. Clear golden amber body, white topping. Malty front with some citrus bitterness in there too, no blackcurrant or oranges as suggested on the label though!

500ml bottle @ Syrian Supper tasting, Chez Sophie, Sep 20. Brought by me. Clear gold, foamy titanium white head. Aroma has bright fresh lemon and grapefruit, continuing to taste with a nice bitterness. Quite flavoursome for a Shropshire gold. Reckon a pint would go down a treat. Went well with a Kibbeh.
