Can from Stori. Appearance - big fluffy cream head over a hazy yellow body. Nose - mostly cucumber, some hint of lemon or lime. Taste - all cucumuber virtually, not sure I can find the juniper though there is a spice which I think might be hop spice. Palate - creamy texture and light bodied. Dry finish. Overall - try with spicy food at a barbecue, maybe.

17th Aug 2020, monthly beer share in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury (just four of us on this one). Cheers Mat, or Mike? For this 440ml can. Gold body, white topping. Cucumber beer is not a thing I craze and this beer hasn't changed my view on the subject.

440ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, August 2020. Picked up from Bottle & Barrel, Aberystwyth. Generally clear gold, frothy white head. Although it states it's an IPA on the can, this is really all about the cucumber. It's quite prominent on the nose, and courses through on the palate with a flinty dry and bitter character. A little watery. No noticeable juniper. Not sure I will ever understand the appeal of cucumber in a beer, but there you go.
