6/7/2020. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours slightly hazy dark gold with a bubbly white head. Delicious aroma of stewed sweet fleshy apples, light grape and tannins. Moderate sweetness and light tartness. Medium body and average carbonation. Very drinkable.

75cl bottle sophiesbeerstore.co.uk. Pure gold appearance with a faint mist. Aroma of apple skin, orchard must, stewed fruit. Taste is moderately rich, golden with a gentle blend of stewed fruit, crunchy flesh, caramel, soft honey, wild flora with a lovely tannic close. The pinot influence seems hard to pinpoint. Fine carbonation. Another excellent keeved cider from Pilton, great depth of flavour emerging.

750ml bottle from Pilton, opened 20th June 2020 for Instagram live label reveal and tasting. Slightly hazy orangey gold colour, some short-lived fizzy bubbles on top and aroma of tangy apple, grape skins. Taste is sweetish, mellow apple fruit, fleshy, slightly tart, with some raisin & honey hints, grape, wine-like notes and earthy tannins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, medium-dry finish with alittle lingering grapey sweetness. Nicely drinkable, it is indeed a very tasty cider!
