Bottle clear glass.
[ As Tutts Clump Rhubarbjack ].
ABV: (19.5)%. Clear medium to dark red - orange amber colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy apple, rhubarb, alcohol, intensive apples, rich, alcohol - glue - phenol, maybe also some oxidide apples, caramelized apples. Initial flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic, finish flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a long duration, initial flavor is harsh something, glue - phenol - alcohol, sharp, so IMO: this initial flavor is really not good - must likely infected. Finish flavor is caramelized apple - caramelized apple sugar - caramelized apple syrup, apple syrup, rich apple, dry. IMO: finish flavor is quit nice but very hard to drink because of the initial flavors. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy - syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is warming, dry and light alcoholic. (20200718)
Initial score 8-3-4-4-8
Finish score 8-3-7-4-15

Sample thanks to Danlo. Unclear pinkish appearance. Aroma is harsh, bitter, acetic. Taste is harsh, acrid, acidic.. unfortunately seems infected.

24/5/2020. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours amber/copper with minimal head. Aroma is rich apple, rhubarb, caramel, touch of funk and wood. Moderate sweetness and tartness. Medium body. Nice tart/sweet finish. Very sippable, but also easy to drink much too quickly!

500ml bottle from Tutts Clump. Orangey amber gold colour, no head and aroma of rhubarb, jelly, booze, apple syrup. Taste is sweet, then tart, mouth puckering dryness, rhubarb, concentrated apple flesh, warming alcohol. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, very dry boozy finish. Nicely sippable.
