Het eerste bier in de Bird Collab Tour 2019 is een threeway collab met twee snel opkomende brouwerijen uit de Spaanse stad Valencia: Tyris en H2ÖL Brewing. Samen brouwden wij een frisse, doordrinkbare Orange IPA (7,1%). Een mix van lokale sinaasappels, een goede dosis aromahop en de creativiteit van drie brouwerijen maken het tot een prachtige aftrap van de Bird Collab Tour 2019.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierwinkel Alkmaar', bottled in March 2019. Slightly hazy, golden with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity and a bit resiny aroma of orange, mango and some pine. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, very fruity and slightly resiny taste of orange, mango and a touch of pine, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly resiny and a bit grassy finish. Tasty!

Bottle. Orange blonde. Orange and grassy hops in the aroma and flavor. A firm hopbitterness. Pleasant.

Bottle at home. Near clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, citrus peels 🍊, strong fresh hops, oniony, light vanilla and custard. Sweet and a light spicy hopburn, oily mouthfeel, somewhat vegetal strong bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A very firm IPA with lots of Upupa epops.
