As part of our 2020 calendar of Special Beers Hobsons has gone all Victorian this month with the launch of NANTY NARKING!

Nanty Narking (meaning Great Fun) is the Hobsons take on a Victorian beer. The cask special is brewed with Burtonised water (as so much of the beer of the day was brewed in Burton) and heavily hopped with local English hops, just as the popular beers of the day would have been.

Enjoy this IPA with your chuckaboo and you'll be sure to have a gigglemug after a pint or two! A hoppy amber ale with subtle bitterness.

Cask @ Coach & Horses with Mike. Deep glowing amber appearance, nice cushion of off-white foam atop. Aroma is quite fruity, hoppy. Taste has a nice old school fruity English hop character, crystal malt with a medium bitterness. Decent.
