Inspired by soft Breton cidres, this easy drinking, medium sweet lightly sparkling cider packs a punchy apple aroma followed by a smooth, buttery finish. Pour carefully to leave natural sediment for a clear drink. Ludicrously delicious!

This cider was named after The Reverend Kilvert of Bredwardine, Herefordshire, a diarist who was recording tales of our stomping ground at the end of the 18th Century. We discovered our name ‘Artistraw’ in his famous diary, it being regional dialect for shrew.

Sample thanks to Danlo. Pours misty gold, aroma of musty apple orchard. Taste is funk forward, interesting wild sweetness, egg, nice natural cider.

4/2/2020. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours cloudy amber orange with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is funky, barnyard, cinnamon apple strudel, light biscuit and pithy citrus. Medium sweetness and slight tartness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average carbonatin.

750ml bottle from Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Orangey golden colour, foamy white head that dissipates to a white rim and aroma of fruity apple, wood, and mucky funky hints. Taste is sweetish, fruity apple, juicy, with some muck, barnyard funk and lots of drying tannins. Medium bodied, fine soft carbonation, medium-dry tannic finish with some residual sweetness. Nicely drinkable
