8/4/2023. Bottle shared at SBGP2. Bought direct from the brewery. West Sussex rating #150. Pours black with a small frothy tan coloured head. Aroma is big maple syrup, toffee, vanilla, chocolate. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, syrupy mouthfeel, average to soft carbonation. Nicely done.

ABV: 10.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, maple, dark malt, maple syrup, chocolate - coffee, caramel, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, maple, chocolate, maple syrup, burnt maple syrup - caramelized maple syrup, chocolate - coffee. Body is medium to medium full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20201003]

Can @ Home. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, maple sirup, rich coffee. Flavor is sweet, rather bitter, roast malt, caramel, coffee, maple sirup, light chocolate. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet rather bitter finish. 041020

Keg @ Tap and Can. Pours black, deep dense brown head. Aroma brings treacle, coffee, maple syrup. Taste is rich, unctious, good sweet maple syrup presence alongside rich coffee, treacle and dark chocolate layers. Lovely sipper this.
