330ml bottle @ DryJan beer tasting, Chez Sophie, Jan '20. Dark brown appearance with a foamy beige head. Malty Ovaltine nose, quite a liquoricey character with some bitter dark chocolate, prominent malty Ovaltine, twigs, more liquorice and coffee. Interesting flavours swirling about, but not sure I'd want to revisit this.

27th Jan 2020. Shrewsbury Beer Exchange in Chez Sophie, our first ever 'no alcohol' tasting. 39 different beers, we managed 26 before we bloated ourselves out, this was beer number 20. 330ml bottle; BBE Jun 2020. Black bodied, tanned head. Malty aroma and taste, more 'Ovaltine' than heavy roasted maltiness. A little sweet in nature too.

Bottled. A black beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and vegetables. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and vegetable, leading to a bitter finish.
