33cl Fles van Openluchtmuseum. Donkerbruine kleur, vuilwitte kraag. Caramel, bruine suiker, moutig, wat donker fruit, alcohol, licht gebrand, degelijk bitter. Medium body. Beetje simpel, maar prima te genieten.

75 cl. bottle shared with Rick @ home, gift from Hilde. Clear brown with an off-white head. Dark caramel aroma with raisins and dried plums. Sweet taste with a sweet boozy finish. Very nice barley wine.

Bottle shared at tasting. Amber colored, small white head. Smell and taste malts, sweetish, sugary a bit. Sort of like a heavy Belgian Strong Ale. Not too bad although initially I was kinda negative but in the end: alright.

Sample from tap. Unclear dark golden with thin white head. Sweet malts, bready, raisans, spices, cloves, gumball coating, alcohol. Big sweet and bitter, alcoholic pucker. Full body, smooth and rich feel with soft carbonation. Strong and spicy. --- Beer merged from original tick of Zware Barrie on 07 Jan 2019 at 11:27 - Score: 7
