Keeping a good quality, really nice side of ginger bread, spices of christmas, bready, a bit watery and mineral at the final, 18.03.17, at Prélaz.

hazy brown colour, one inch of dense, creamy beige-ish head; aroma of prune, red grape, caramel slight apple and a bit acidic notes; taste of a bit burnt plum jam, malty-caramel sweetness, some christmas spices and definite acidic notes - I'm not 100% sure that it is intentional and not a sign of infection, but basically it is drinkable and in fact it gives a good balance to its sweetness - so all in all fine with me

33cl bottle from Drinks of the world, Geneva. Pours hazy brown with a fairly modest off-white head. Mild malty aroma with lightly spicy notes, dried dark fruits and hints of caramel. Medium sweet with rather low flavour intensity and bitterness. Fairly easy to drink, but also easy to forget. 33cl bottle from Grain d’Orge, Moudon. Brune légère, col beige. Arôme épicé, malt léger avec pointe de levure, malt cara/grillé et un bouquet hivernal de cannelle et muscade. Palais garde ce côté épicé, malt léger sur des pointes de choco, en retrait une brève amertume houblonnée s’illustre. Reste sèche en fin de bouche toujours accompagnée de ces épies rappelant les bières de saisons des US, entre cannelle et muscade. Belle bière, légère.

33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy to hazy brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is cinnamon and solid star annis, slight cardemomme. Annis seed and cardemomme. Spiced and herbal finish.

Bottled. An amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma has strong notes of spices - coriander and cinnamon, as well as notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of cinnamon, coriander, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry spicy finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a nutty brown with a slight haze and a creamy off-white head. Heavy aniseed aroma with other X-mas spices too. Medium body, very spicy and tobaccoish, loads of licorice again, some burned caramel underneath. A spice hell indeed. 100511
