A classic and smooth top-fermented blonde ale. Lightly hopped with Cascade for a modern feel, but with a focus on a clean malt body for a drinkable lager-esque beer.

Keg at the taproom, Chamonix. Inoffensive lager that went down without problem, but also didn't shine in any noticeable way.

19/3/2024. Bottle shared by the Shropshire boys, cheers. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with a small short lasting frothy white head. Aroma is malty, earthy, stewed fruits, straw, citrus, carrot, cabbage. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery, above average carbonation. Dusty finish. Not great.

330ml bottle, shared with blackhaddock. Pours gold with a very fine mist, bubbly white head. Aroma has very light grapefruit and pale malt. Flavour profile is rather vague and comes across quite thin, light and bland for a French blonde.. not the best first impression from this brewery.

5th March 2024; mega tasting with minutemat (and Panda fill for Gumbo), my house. Cheers Mat for the 330ml bottle of this: BB 23rd November 2024. Light haze in the very blonde body, white affair on top. I found this pretty bland and uninteresting, just not much going on.

On tap at Big Mountain Bar Chamonix. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, light yeasty and fruity nose. Sweetish malty, yeasty, light fruity and hoppy with bitterish finish. Simple and ok.

Flight on tap at Big Mountain Bar, Chamonix. Clear pale golden with a white head. Fruity and slightly floral aroma with notes of Belgian yeast. Light and moderate sweet with classic blonde flavour and a more hoppy finish. Rather tasty and refreshing. --- Beer merged from original tick of Blonde on 15 Dec 2019 at 15:21 - Score: 7
