Black with a medium creamy light brown head. A roasted malt aroma with some dark fruits and coffee. Light bittersweet with a mild malt and coffee end. Tap at Skarven Tromsø, NO.

Tap at Saga Bar, Mo i Rana. Clear, dark amber body, almost black with a moderate sized tan head. Moderate aroma of dark malt, mild roasted/toasted and hint of coffee. Taste is light roasted, mild dark malt, hint of coffee and chocolate, some licorice and slightly spicy, low bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Decent but rather straight forward Scwarzbier.

50cl bottle from Rune - thanks a lot! Pours far, dark mahogany with a minimal, off-white head. Malty aroma with mild roasty notes, dark fruits and hints of coffee. Bottled (thanks Rune!). Copper colour, small white head. Aroma is toffee, some roasted and toasted notes along with mild berries. Flavour is nutty, mild sour wooden notes as well as some toffee and mild toasted notes.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - batch #1 - BB Jan/2017, thanks Rune, 20160416) The beer poured clear and nearly black. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had burnt malts and chocolate. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonatioon. Flavours were burnt malts, ash, chocolate, sourness and bitterness. Afteraste was ashy and bitter. A confusing brew.

50cl bottle @ Scandic, Helsinki. Bbe 01/2017. Pours near black with a thin off white head. Some dark fruity aroma, raisins. Bit acidic as well. Flavor has sweetness, mild bready notes, raisins. Sweet dark fruits.
