Dark amber, cloudy with a large light brown head. A malt aroma with some bread and some dried fruit sense. Light bittersweet with a ok malt end. Medium-full bodied.

Bottled (thanks djoeye!). Ambery colour with a small foamy beige head. Aroma is floral, some mild chocolaty and toasted tones with mild caramel malts too. Flavour is floral, chocolaty, toasted, mild roasted notes with some nice bready malts. Surprisingly bodied for being only 4.7 %.

Bottle at Piccadilly, Bod. Pours a dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma of nuts, coffee, rye bread, raisins and oat crackers. Flavour of nuts, coffee, rye bread and raisins. Has a slick and light mouth feel, light body and a soft bitterness. Malty and nice.

50 cl bottle @ Oulu, BBE 21.12.2022 Aroma has nuts, malt and toffee. Flavour has nuts, toffee, malt and caramel. Hoppy finish with mint. An alt on the sweet and malty side - feels like some english ales.

50cl bottle from Coop Extra, Tromsø. Pours slightly hazy reddish brown with a fairly decent, off-white to beige head. Malty and slightly caramelly aroma with dark fruits, hints of chocolate, coffee and nuts. Moderate to medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and a balanced bitterness. Easy to drink, well balanced and quite enjoyable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Klauva Altbier on 16 May 2019 at 16:42 - Score: 7

500 ml bottle, from Bris Ølutsalg, Jørpeland. ABV is 4.7%. Dark brown colour, large beige head. Distinct malty aroma, notes of caramel and toasted brown bread with syrup, also hints of dark berries. Malty flavour with toasted brown bread again, but not very sweet. A moderate but nice fruitiness makes the beer very drinkable. Decent bittering hops in the finish.

500ml bottle bought at Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Really good looking with a stable, medium sized beige head over a deep rosewood coloured body, clingy lacing on the glassware. Nicely, modest, roasted malts on the nose, dry and mid-sweet. Malt-driven taste of earth, grain, and caramel joined by touch of prunes. Rounded roasted ending. Drinks well. Pleasant with our Easter Sunday lunch (Shared with Pål, Tromsø 01.04.2018).
