Orangebrun klar med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter brunt sukker og noe trevirke. Bittersøt smak, brent karamell, fruktig og noe røkt smak. Salt og bitter ettersmak.

On tap at Schouskjelleren, pours a cloudy dark brown with a reddish tinge and a small beige head. Nose brings out prominent smoke, nothing else. Flavour is monolithic in its smokiness, with light caramel sweetness. Quite pleasant, with a good addition of smoke to this. Nice.

Clear deep nutty color with an off white head. Some lacing. Some bacon. Mild peat and malty aroma. Medium body and tad sweet. Ok bitterness and soft carbonation. Quite mild and balanced flavor. Not any one dimensional ale. Some bacon, caramel malty, mild fruity and some peat. Decent.

On tap at Schouskjelleren, Oslo courtesy of Cunningham. Deep amber to chesnut coloured with a tan head. Moderate smoky aroma with hints of smoked meat, malt and caramel. Sweet, mildly smoky and caramely with a light bitterness. Nice enough, but not quite my cup of tea.

Small glass, tap at the brewpub. Muddy brown body, low head, good lacing. Malt-fruity nose with restrained smoked malts. Flavours of smoked malts mixed with citrus and chocolate. Nice bitter tail. Medium bodied. A different, likable brew (Oslo 10.12.2013).
