On tap @ the brewery may 2014. Unclear orange with a small off-white head. Aroma has citric fruit and caramel malt, quite nice but unfortunately also butterscotch. Flavor is sweet, quite soft malty, some citric fruit, caramel malt, too much butterscotch and moderate bitterness. Not totally ruined and drinkable to a certain limit, but the butterscotch…….

Half pint on tap at Oslo Mikrobryggeri. Close to clear golden eith a rather small, white head. Smells slightly promising at first. Quite fruity aroma dominated by citrus, caramel and some floral notes and hints of herbs. Bittterness is on the mild side, but present. Neither very clean nor refreshing, but drinkable. Far from existing, and now also quite expensive.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a hazy pale golden body under a small white head. There’s lots of butterscotch in the aroma, with some fruits and pale malts. Butterscotch in the flavor too, it’s quite dry, with a nice carbonation level. Fruity and bitter towards the finish. Ruined by butterscotch, else it’s decent. 140502

Half pint, draught at the brewpub. Tiny white head blanketing the upper level of the glass. Hazy golden body. Moderate smell of grassy hops with a touch of coffee beneath. Malt-fruity taste, oily hops, joined by caramel and coffee. Rounded bitter ending. Medium bodied. Interesting and nice.(Oslo 22.04.2014).
