330 ml bottle. Close to clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma has notes of pale malt, some spicy yeast and berries/cloudberry. Mild malty flavor with hint of spices and yeast in combination with slightly acidic cloudberries. Medium to light bodied and moderate in aftertaste. A bit unusually this one and cloudberries in liquid form might be an acquired taste. I actually had a little sip from a bottle of Lakka (cloudberry liquor from Finland) to make some kind of reference. Not the perfect fruit or berries for a beer, the taste is both subtle and quite distinct at the same time. I guess the flavor is what to expect from a cloudberry blond, not great but kind of interesting and sure a decent take on the blond even it might have worked better with a sour.

It is not often that the man who sells the bee says:…..I will not recommend this one. And he was right. Have the really used cloudberry in this one? It was just a plain dull golden ale.

33cl bottle shared by Cunningham - thanks a lot! Pours slightly hazy golden with a decent, white head. Grainy aroma with some slightly fruity notes possibly from the cloudberries. Moderate to medium sweet with mild flavours, rather boring, but fair enough. Some acidity and a rather light bitterness. A bit unusual flavour, but no very pleasant. --- Beer merged from original tick of Myltr Blonde on 27 Sep 2016 at 17:24 - Score: 4
