100ml, 4.7 % abv, poured from a bottle at Bryggerifestivalen Trondheim 2016. Cloudy golden body, decent white head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Ripe citrus aroma. Flavoured with herbal hops and juicy malts. Plain semi-dry bitter ending. Medium bodied. Pretty nice (05.08.2016).

Lys brun klar med fingeehøyt hvitt skum. Lukter syrlige epler, granskudd og korn. Syrlig lett bitter emmen smak. Granskudd og sitrusskall. Lang bitter tørr avslutning.

Bottle. An almost clear, golden colored beer with a small white head leaving some curtains. The aroma is lightly piney, with lemon zest and some light peppery yeast. Almost funky, which I doubt it is intended to be. Quite funky flavor too, with a nice bitterness, lemon juice and pine cones. Peppery yeast notes and some resin hints. It’s medium to full bodied, dry and nicely carbonated, with a lasting bitter and lemony finish. The carbonation level suggests it’s the hops that makes me think it’s funky. Hope it is so, it’s a decent beer actually. 160526

500 ml bottle, from the brewery. Trondhjem Mikrobryggeri’s bottled beers are brewed at Telemark Mikrobryggeri. ABV is 4.7%, IBU 12. Hops are Chinook, Mount Hood and Mosaic. Golden colour, large and lasting white head. Strong floral and herbal aroma. Very refreshing herbal and medium dry flavour. Mount Hood is the dominant hop. A little more bitterness would not hurt, but it is still much better than I feared with only 12 IBU.

50cl bottle (4,7%) from Meny Søndersrød, Helgeroa. Pours clear golden with a small, white head. Mild fruity aroma and slightly grainy aroma with hints of tropical fruits, pine and caramel. Moderate sweet with rather mild flavours and a light bitterness. Drinkable enough, but fairly boring.

Pale yellow color with a small thin white layer on top. Mild malty and a bit fruity aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Fine bitterness and a moderate sweetness. Malty, mild grassy, mild hoppy and fruity flavor.
