Bottle. A lightly hazy amber colored beer topped by a small, off-white head. Caramel, bread and some vague licorice hints in the aroma. A whiff of citrus chimes in. It’s medium bodied, quite dry and with a soft carbonation. Caramel, bread and a faint touch of licorice, citrus and bitterness in the flavor. Bread and caramel finish with a lemon hint. A rather boring one, although flawless. 160402

Amber noe tåkete med lavt beige skum. Lite lukt, noe papp og karamell. Lett. Smaker søtlig, karamell og noe trevirke. Noe pepperig. Svært kort lett bitterhet i avslutningen.

I should have claimed my money back. Horrible beer.
Amberish color (quite nice actually) with almost no head. Some sour notes in the aroma. Medium body and a soft to flat carbonation. Waterish, bready and mild fruity flavor. Should have tried another one. But I am not wasting more money on this.

33cl bottle from Gulating ølutsalg avd. Larvik. Pours close to clear amber with a rather small, off-white head. Mild malty aroma with some rotten notes, hints of caramel and citrus. Moderate sweet with fairly unpleasant flavours and hints of acidity and bitterness. Pretty much drainpour in my book. Obviously not in a good condition. --- Beer merged from original tick of Red Lantern Amber Ale on 07 Jan 2016 at 21:15 - Score: 4

170ml draught at Ølhallen. Filmy layer over a clear dark amber coloured body. Forest on the nose, mid-sweet malts. Taste of leafy hops, dark malts and with fruity hints towards the ending. Medium to thin bodied. Satisfying (Tromsø 18.11.2015).
