500 ml bottle. Clear amber body with a nice, dense off-white head. Aroma has malt, caramel and some floral hops. Flavor is sweet malty, caramel, toast and balanced mild bitterness. A bit sweet but decent malty Christmas beer.

KRS 311215. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is hop, orange, spices, pine. , roasted malt, spices, coffee. Flavour is spices, roasted malt, hop, grass, orange, caramel, hop, pine, yeast, chocolate, coffee. Medium to full body. Nice beer.

Bottle. The color is slightly hazy reddish brown with a big creamy beige head. The aroma is very careful with hints of leather, wood and toffee. More tasteful at least with sweet tones of caramel, bread, wood, coffee, grassy hops and some alcohol. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness. Incredibly light aroma, decent taste, and pretty sweet ale.

Bottle. A murky orange-brown beer topped by a big, dense beige head leaving some lacing. The aroma is mostly on the hoppy side, oranges, pine cones and some resins, with roasted malts, coffee hints and some cocoa hints. It’s full-bodied, smooth and nicely carbonated, with flavors of oranges, pine cones, grass and roasted, cocoa-ish malts. Long finish. A quite decent brew, mellow and pleasant, but nothing extraordinary. 151231

Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, dried grain, nuts, toast, minerals, caramel, bark, grass, unripe banana. Taste is dry mineraly, weeds, minerals, hay, bark, toast, nuts, grass, caramel, paper. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and mineraly mouthfeel. Kind of boring.

500ml bottle shared with friends. Hazy dark apricot coloured body under a lasting filmy layer. Restrained malt-fruity smell, lightly spiced. Mixed taste of spiced fruit joined by caramel malts. Soft in the mouth, Okay Yuletide feel (Juleølaften, Tromsø 04.12.2015).

50cl bottle from Vinmonpolet Storo, Oslo. Pours slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Malty and moderate fruity aroma with notes of caramel and hints of spices and herbs. Moderate to medium sweet, fairly mild in flavour, but surprisingly pleasant and balanced. Light bitterness in the finish and high drinkability. Tasty stuff!

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Malts are pale, munich, crystal, amber, chocolate and roasted barley. Hops are Perle, Cascade and Citra. Slightly hazy brown colour, moderate off-white head. Nice aroma, Cascade and Citra dominate with their fruity / citrussy notes, on a background of lightly toasted malts, a hint of chocolate. The flavour is neither too sweet nor too roasty, with a nice fruitiness throughout, making the beer very drinkable. Sufficient hops, not too bitter.
