From tap. Pours hazy brown with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty, biscuity. Light spiced. Breadish, sweet, slight sourish. Mild spiced and slight herbal finish.

750 ml bottle. Practically clear amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma has malt, caramel and roasted toast. Flavor is sweet dark malt, bread and moderate bitterness. Medium body and aftertaste. Sure drinkable but I don’t find this beer much interesting.

Bottle. As Alderdom. It’s a hazy, dark amber colored beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is rather fruity for an altbier, but pleasant, with a nice bready, light caramel maltyness and a resiny, piney hoppyness. It’s smooth, full-bodied and quite dry, with flavors of caramel and bready malts. A good bitterness too, lasting for a good while, kept company of the bready malts and a touch of pine cones. Sure not the most interesting beer today, but it’s a fine, although not very traditional, altbier. 151231

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry grainy, weeds, dried grain, minerals, hay, bark, old cellar, hints of boiled vegetables. Taste is slightly harsh mineraly, weeds, dried grain, bark, minerals, old cellar, paper, cramel. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh medical mouthfeel. Meh!

75cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks! Pours slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Malty aroma with notes of dried fruits, caramel and hints of spices. Moderate to medium sweet with nice malty flavours with slightly earthy notes. Tasty brew!
