Draught @ Patricks Pub, Kristiansand
Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and coffee. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long chocolate, coffee and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Patrick’s. A dark brown beer with a dense finger thick beige head. Lots of coffee in the roasted malts aroma, with some piney hops as well. It’s dry, bitter, roasted and coffeeish in the mouth, with a nice carbonation level. Full body. Pine cones, resins and a touch of grass in the flavor, mostly roasted malts and coffee in the finish. Pine cones and bitterness too. A quite lovely one. 160126

Dark brownish color. Not easy to detect in the dungeon. This beer had and unusual and nice dominant caramel flavor. Also a bit fruity, mild roast and nutty. Pleasant tasty Brown Ale.

On tap at Schouskjelleren, pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. Nose brings out toasted malt and toasted nuts. Flavour is on the sweeter side, with caramel, dark fruits, and toasted bready notes. Really full-bodied for the style, with a syrupy palate. Not bad, but now brewed correctly to style at all.

Small glass, draught at the brewpub. Hazy dark brown body, low, fawn-coloured head leaving lacing rings down the glass. Rich brown malty aromas. Taste of earth, caramel, and nuts with a final round of roastiness. Well bodied. Pleasing (Oslo 14.04.2015).
