Flaske 500ml fra Gulating Tromsø. Drukket på Lillehøgda. Gylden. Høyt luftig skum som daler raskt. Lett kornaroma. Smaken korn & lett krydder. Uklar siste kvelling. Mye bunnfall. Utmerket matøl.

500ml bottle, batch 016, 4.3 % abv, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg Tromsø. Pours a noisy, rocky white head. Next to clear golden body. Clingy lacing. Aroma of pale malts and ripe banana. Flavoured with banana sweetness joined by wheat and distant citric notes. Vague bittersweet endnotes.

50cl bottle from Gulating ølutsalg, Trondheim. Pours deep golden with modest, white head. Wheaty and fruity aroma with notes of ripe bananas, some earthy notes, light caramel and hints of spices. Medium sweet with fruity flavours and a rather mild bitterness. Feel somewhat messy, but still pretty drinkable and fairly refreshing. Gusher alert, beer all over the place...! Huge fizzy shortlasting head. Aroma is weeds, boiled vegetables, paper, cardboard, harsh yeast, old potato cellar, minerals, bark. Taste is dry and medical harsh, cardboard, weeds, old potato cellar, harsh yeast, paper, boiled vegetables, dried grain, minerals. Little bitterness, harsh mouthfeel. Ohh what a debut...!

Hazy yellow color with a small white layer. Strong grassy and herbal aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Moderate sweet and a mild bitterness. Unusual low bitterness. Malty, herbal and to rich grassy for my likings.
