On tap at Bergen Ølfestival. It pours a dark brown body, almost clear, and topped by a dense, dark beige head. The aroma is lightly roasted, with a little caramel, lots of pine cones and a good dash of citrus peel. There’s a good bitterness in the mouth, it’s full-bodied and nicely carbonated, rather soft. Roasted notes, caramel and pine cones, leading to a long bitter and hop flavored finish. Really delicious. 151005

On tap at Crowbar, Oslo. Black with a small, beige head. Rather hoppy aroma with pine, some citrus, roasted malt, licorice, dark fruits and hints of herbs. Moderate to medium sweet with a quite nice mixture of hoppy and roasty flavours even thou the hoppy ones are dominating. Finishes quite bitter with notes of pine and citrus. Fairly long aftertaste too. Tasty stuff, maybe not so balanced, but certainly refreshing.

04.08.2015, tap @ Bergen Ølfestival:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is dry foresty, pine needles, bark, moss, leafs, hops, grass, dark malts, minerals. Taste is dry and harsh, bark, harsh hops, minerals, soil, burnt grain, medicine, grass. Longlasting bitterness, dry medical harsh mouthfeel. Not really my cup of tea, way too harsh hoppy.
