500 ml bottle, batch 54, from the brewery. Soon available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. Hazy deep golden colour, moderate white head of poor retention. Strong and fairly pleasant aroma of ginger, also some grain, wood and spicy fruit. Light bodied. The flavour is fairly dry, with distinct notes of ginger - yes, the ginger is really what it is all about here. A nice ginger burn in the aftertaste. Good for me, I love ginger. The hops are very moderate.

50cl bottle (#54) from Gulating ølutsalg, Strømmen. Pours hazy amberish with an off-white head. Immediate smell of ginger when it’s poured in the glass. Smell strong and refreshing! Nice and balanced ginger aroma with moderate malty notes, hints of herbs, but the ginger is quite dominating. Moderate sweet with lovely ginger flavour and a certain bitterness. Ginger is certainly dominating, but I like it. Refreshing, sessionable and probably good next to Asian food. Tasty one!
