22.02.2019, 0,33l bottle (as Reins Kloster Hold Me Gingerly) @ home:
Big fizzy-creamy longlasting head, hazy. Aroma is fresh sour-ish floral, fresh ginger, hay, flowers, pine needles, sour grass, minerals, leafs, hints of soap. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish floral, weeds, dusty ginger, hay, flowers, sour grass, minerals, soap, leafs, soil, light malts. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh sour-ish floral mouthfeel. Fair enough.

On tap as Ingefær Ale, 4.7 % abv, at Bryggerifestivalen 2017. Shared with Finn. Warm golden body, filmy layer, dotted spots on the glass. Mild ginger nose, dry. The taste profile is dominated by ginger with a touch of ripe fruits beneath. Mid-sweet and dry ending. Okay ginger beer. (Trondheim 04.08.2017).

Bottle. It’s a hazy, dark golden-orange beer with a small, off-white head. Just some bubbles around the rim actually. There’s loads of ginger on the nose, way to much I think, but at least ginger smells nice, although a tad soapy. Not much else going on in the aroma, but there’s some bitterness in the flavor. It’s full-bodied, lightly warming and semi-sweet in the mouth. Lasting ginger finish. Quite nice for a ginger beer, but as mentioned, too ginger-ish. 150711

Bottle 500ml @ Geokkjer
Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of ginger and bad hand soap. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with a long ginger finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft. I really don’t like ginger and this was way to much for me..
