Unclear golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing. A bit acidic, wheat and fruity aroma. Fine medium body. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Ok carbonation. Mild acidic, fruity, wheat and some yeast. The acidic notes is surely due to the BB….1 year ago. Still ok and drinkable.

330 ml bottle, from the brewery. ABV is 4.7%. My 500 ml weissbier glass fills completely by white foam, and the pale golden beer appears only slowly. Weird aroma, spicy and hard to describe, but not unpleasant. The flavour is citric / lemony, no banana notes and hardly any cloves, but refreshing.

Over BB-dato. Initielt fenolisk, røykaktig og kjemisk. Deretter litt tynt og med syrlig ettersnert. Må være infisert, dessverre.

Bottle from Ølhandleriet (Mathallen), bought in February 2013. Hazy golden with a fairly large, fluffy white head. A bit tart with citrus, some berries, yeast and wheat. A bit strange and not that refreshing. A bit stale to be honest.

330ml bottle bought at Ølhandleriet, Oslo Mathall. Loose white head to a cloudy golden body. Rather tart smell with green apples. Lemony tartness in flavour added by spices. Tart, almost sour, dry ending. Just possible to drink, but a strange kind of a wheat beer (hotel room, Oslo 23.02.2013).

33cl bottle from Ølhandleriet, Oslo. Pours hazy golden with a large white head. Yeasty and fruity aroma with wheat, malt and hints of citrus and some funky stuff. Sweet and yeasty with somewhat sour and lightly bitter finish. Quite a strange hefeweizen, not much banana and more citric then usual. Also notes that remind me of wild yeast. Strange, but quite refreshing. --- Beer merged from original tick of Det Lille Bryggeriet Hveteøl on 27 Feb 2013 at 16:47 - Score: 5
