Bière 33cl. Robe dorée orangée. Limpide. Mousse blanche fine, tenue faible. Arômes pamplemousse, citron, vanille. Bouche boisée, vieux tonneau, bourbon, biscuit, cassonade. Amertume légèrement marquée. Légère sensation chaude de l'alcool. Je ne retrouve pas forcément les notes exotiques annoncées sur l'étiquette en bouche, le tonneau l'emporte sur le reste. La bière a beaucoup de corps, de goût et de longueur en bouche pour une bière avec si peu d'alcool, très réussie mais peut surprendre les amateurs d'ipa "simples" et légère. (M)

Bottle from Tesco. Not much from the barrel aged but it’s maybe very subtle. Malty sweet. Golden colour. A touch blah.

Bottle from local ASDA. Has a strong aroma of hops interlaced with oak barrel alcohol. Pours a mid-amber yellow-brown with small transient off-white head. The hops come into their own in the mouth, citrus (mainly lemon) and mango. Thankfully not too over powering as I don’t like mango ! The alcoholic undertones remain to dominate the finish. It’s a nice beer, but not for swigging.
