Keg at the bottle shop tap takeover. Bromendsey. Thanks to Leighton. Bright yellow / golden coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is big wit yeast, floral, tangerine, wheat grains, kaffir lime. Flavour is crisp juicy orange, wheat, floral, lavender. Palate is medium bodied, moderate carbonation, melts in the mouth. Firm fruity bitterness. Semi dry in the finish. Like an amped up wit beer.

Keg at Bottle Shop Bermondsey. Pours clear, shiny gold with a creamy, pure white head. Great aroma, plenty of wheat notes, peach, grapefruit. Light-medium sweet with some floral hops, a bit of grassy bitterness, perfume, citrus zest, lemon. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Light boozy warmth in the finish, some hop resin, pale wheat, some grain husk, orange and lemon rind, more floral notes. Tasty.

Keg at at Bottle Shop. It pours hazy orange with a small white head. The nose is musty, earthy, smoked cheese, apricot, peach, wheat, herbal, light anise and meatiness. The taste is crisp, minerals, orange rind, tangerine, peach, grassy aspect, light alcohol wheaten bread, cracker and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. The aroma is a touch off-putting for me personally, but it tastes quite nice.

500mL bottle at The Tasting Room, pours an opaque orange with a small white head. Nose brings out a good mix of Belgian yeast and piney hops. Flavour is similar, bringing out notes of orange rinds, Belgian yeast, and piney hops. A little sweet, quite yeasty and quite hoppy. Could use less sweetness, as that does get a bit overburdening after a while. Also a little too yeasty and floral. Needs some refining. Not too impressive, but still decent.

Bottle. An unclear, golden-orange beer with lots of floaties. A medium sized white head on top. The aroma has too much coriander I think, with citrus peel, oranges, some pale malts and alcohol. The flavor has a nice bitterness. with oranges, coriander, citrus peel and pale malts. It’s full-bodied, lightly warming and with a pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish. Quite nice this one, but too much coriander and alcohol for my liking. 150411
