Can. Color: Dark murky brown, dense beige head. Nice lacing. Aroma: Wheat, dark malt. Taste: Very smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Dark malt, burnt malt, wheat malt, grassy and very light citrus hop, coffee. Moderate bitter and sweet, very slightly sourish like wheat and coffee can be. Mild. A little more bitterness at finish. Just over medium body, under average carbonation. Nice very smooth BIPA.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Almost black with fizzy dark beige head. Roast, soft citrus, light berries, cherries, ash, dank weedy hops, light red currants, sweet chocolate malts. Medium sweet and bitter and light sour. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Quite nice, except for the cola-like carbonation.

Sampled from tap at the brewpub. Black with a thin, dense, stable, beige head. Faint, sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and a bit fruity aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, some hazelnut and a touch of dark fruits. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and a little fruity taste of milk chocolate, dried fruits, cocoa powder and some hazelnut, followed by a short, minimally bitter, slightly roasty finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice, not really a Black IPA though.
