On keg at Bitter Phew, Sydney. Pours clear dark red amber with a white top. Aromas of malts, rye & orange. Taste is light sweet, light bitter, malty, nutty, hints of citrus. Medium bodied, soft carb, smooth mouthfeel. Dry, light bitter finish.

Schooner on tap at K&B hotel. Dark fruit nose, red/orange beer with solid white head. Laces well. Lots of bubbles. Flat mouthfeel, oily texture. Finish is malty with a touch of smokiness. Solid quaffer, the type of beer you drink after work.

On taster at GABS in Melbourne: nice caramel notes on nose. Pours appropriately orangey red. Full bodied. Nicely balanced. Highly sessionable.
