Everything you would expect from a American IPA: hop forward, yet civilized. Bitter but balanced. Cascade hops ring loud and clear with citrus/pine notes and are backed up with a chorus of other hop flavors - Apollo, Centennial, Chinook, Columbus, Crystal, and Simcoe.

Can from Sterk Amsterdam. Aroma is fruity hops with zesty citrus, pine, light biscuity malt, fruit peel, mildly tropical fruits. Flavour is lightly sweet with a medium bitter and dry finish. Body is medium. Nicely crisp and citrussy hoppy IPA, refreshing, good!

Pours a clear copper-orange color with a medium foamy white head that recedes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of grassy hop, grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a short citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

[12oz can from Total Wines, Brea, CA.] A hazy pale amber pour with a thin white head; the aroma has a strange blend of tropical fruit and pine resin; the taste is immediately hoppy - quite raw and resinous and lacking subtlety. An out and out hop bomb, rather than a pleasant beer to drink.

19.2 oz can on 14th March 2019 while on holiday in California, drank by my daughters pool in the afternoon sun. Really enjoyed this, a proper uncomplicated hoppy IPA. Light haze to the golden pour, good white crown on top. Resin like aroma from the hops, some floral and mild fruity esters too. The taste is fairly bitter and again with resin flavours to the fore. Liked it because it wasn't an In Your Face overly hopped IPA compared to some of the other Californian ones I have tried.
