Lagered for a staggering 9 months to create deep and lingering flavours of tropical fruits, apricot, marmalade and marzipan.
The long-maturation gives the beer a huge mouthfeel and a long finish; the German Polaris and Slovenian Wolf hops balance the lager and give it a very East-European influence.

330ml bottle, drank at home on 23rd Oct 2020. The last and best beer of a mini tasting I had with myself. Amber, dark orange body, neat white head. My sweet tooth liked the caramel/malty base of this brew, some light fruitiness creeps in mid-sip and there is a bit of bittering hop action, but it's all about the malts in this very drinkable beer.

Bottle at the Wildling Tasting - first meet up post lockdown at MM, picked up from the brewery, 28/06/20. Clear golden with a well presented white cap. Nose is light caramel wafer, sweet malts, grains, straw, sugars. Taste comprises bready notes, pale malts, cereals, toasted grains, caramel whisper, trace of banana chews. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow boosty nip. Solid high boost logger.

Bottle from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Low key aroma mixes fruit and marzipan. Cloudy amber. Creamy foamy white head. Medium bitter with a sour edged and boozy tasting sweet streak. The bitterness remains into the finish. Matches the aroma. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Astringent finish. Boozy tasting but highly drinkable.

04/08/2019: Tiny sample from a bottle at the brewery as they don't have it on tap. It had been opened the day before apparently. Ever so slightly hazy orange, almost no head. Aroma is sweet, marmalade, fruity. Taste is similarly quite sweet, honey-like, marmalade, overripe fruits. Medium body. Brought a bottle home as my complimentary beer from the tour so will re-rate properly later... 04/09/2019: 330ml bottle from the brewery as a proper rate this time. Hazy orange, creamy white head. Aroma of sweet malts, marmalade. Taste is sweet, malty, marmalade, apricot, grassy hops, mild spice, light bitterness in the finish. Medium body. This tasted way better from a fresh bottle, I'd say it's the best lager they do, really enjoyed this.
