Carnival Season is upon us so we brewed up a deep, dark stout fit for a king! Brewed with heaps of oats and a concoction of speciality, roasted malts, then rigorously boiled with brown sugar and a whisper of milk dust. This elixir was then rest on a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, Madagascar vanilla and a pinch of lemon zest for a pastry inspired treat!

355ml can. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, chocolatey malts. Taste is intensely spicy, tons of cinnamon and nutmeg, sugar, chocolatey and roast malts, a little vanilla, the lemon zest very subtle in the finish, quite smooth. Medium bodied, far amount of carbonation.

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, smooth dark chocolatey malts. Tangy cinnamon and coconut. Dark fruits. Some light spice on the tangy fruity finish. Adding bits and pieces to an Impy is a fine art, here it is not quite fully developed.

12 ounce can. Opaque black pour. Small creamy tan head. Light roasted malt nose hints at cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg and citrus. Dark roasted malt flavor is complex and spicy. Notes of dark sugar, cinnamon and vanilla stand out. Subtle hints of nutmeg, molasses and lemon zest lead to plenty of warming, boozy goodness.
