My goodness. Peanut bullet bomb. Sorry, but the raspberries drowned in the peanut stuff. So this was utterly bad? Absolutely not. But one can is more than enough. Maybe nice together with some ice cream.

440ml can. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma is sweet, nutty, raspberry jam. Taste is sweet, nutty, slightly sour and tart raspberry jam, creamy lactose, vanilla like, smooth. Medium body, soft carbonation. Pretty decent actually considering my strong aversion to peanuts (being allergic), the extract used does not contain the protein allergen, so happily I did not die while drinking this.

Can from Eltham Wines, Eltham. Black pour with a blink and you'll miss it tan head. Aromas of biscuit, definite peanut butter, raisin, fried egg. Flavours of raisin, chocolate nut, peanut butter, more biscuit/cookie. Distinctive, interesting brew.

Can from Wine Rack, Burpham. Nuts, chocolate. Underlying sweet berry-esque aroma. Poor dark and glossy with a red tint. Frothy beige head is short-lived. Initially sweet before a berry sourness comes to the fore. There's a slight bitter edge. As a peanut butter jelly stout the jelly element is most prominent. The peanut butter seem more apparent in to the finish. Thick bodied. Creamy. Flat carbonation. Long finish, a tad astringent. Pretty decent. I'd just like more of the peanut butter.
