440ml Can. Near black in colour, with a thin, tan, head. Aroma of toasted malts and chocolate fondant. Full, slightly oily, mouth feel. Flavour had some deep and sweet chocolate character, hint of prune and much more toastiness, leading to a rich and boozy finish that lingered on for some time. Excellent.

Black beer, thick beige head. Light smell.of toasted malt. Taste is stronger with a hefty maltiness to.ir, chocolate, a little anise and a rich, creamy body. A simple but very tasty milk stout with a bit of lactose coming through as well. Very decent.

440ml can. Almost black with a tan head. Aroma of roast malts, chocolate. Taste of bitter roast malts, chocolate, lactose, hints of dark fruit, that milky sweetness coming through much more as it warms. Smooth, medium bodied. Nicely done.
