Trillionaire is a spiced lebkuchen inspired stout with cinnamon and ginger. This is thick and decadent and really tastes like winter!
This beer was brewed over two full days of brewing with three mashes! No one in our team (with 54+ combined years of experience) has ever made a beer this strong in sugar from malt alone. We love these big stouts! Big on flavour like Millionaire and big in size like Wildebeest. Trillionaire has a huge amount of residual sugar and with it, loads of flavour! No lactose was used in this brew.

HOPS: Magnum
YEAST: WBC house ale yeast
OTHER: Cocoa nibs, Cinnamon, Ginger, Apricot

Can from Wild Beer Wapping Whaf, Bristol. Sampled Nov 2020. Pours dense black with a tan cap. Aroma: cinnamon, dark chocolate, clove, spicy tea. Taste: moderate sweet and light bitter with notes of cinnamon, cacao, ginger apricot, brown sugar, pumpkin Xmas type spices. Medium to full body with fine carbonation. Lacked balance for me.

Keg draught from BrewDog Leicester. Black and impenetrably opaque with a small ring of brown head. Burning rubber in the aroma with some salt liquorice, chocolate malt, sweet spice. Bittersweet taste with more rubber, naked booze, brandy-soaked stone fruit, medicinal herbs. One of those beers that's easier to respect than to love. But boy do I respect. And maybe love it a little.

Black, brown head. Smell.. ffs, they said spices, nobody mentioned ginger?! Nice body, very smooth and thick. Taste is interesting, quite salty somehow, but also with something slightly acidic yet sweet? Ginger isn't too much, some dark chocolate. Solid.

Can from the brewery online shop. Pours black with a thick brown head. Aromas of light ginger, dark chocolate, cinnamon. Taste is surprisingly thin, spice and dark chocolate again. A bit one note, like that Mackies chocolate bar with ginger in it. Have you put some ginger in it? Yes you have. OK then.

330ml can from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Shared with Finn. Thick tan-coloured head, scattered lacing, jet black in the glass. Prominent spiced malt-fruity smell. Spiced taste profile of cinnamon and ginger joined by chocolate malts. Smooth ending with lingering spiced chocolate. Okay sipper, overdone spices though. (Bergstua, Malangen 16.06.2021).

Delt med Rune på Bergstua. Svart. Lavt rødbrunt skum som raskt seiler inn i skumringen. Aroma av ingefær. Smaken ingefær & kanel. Ikke vellykket.

330ml can. Pours jet black with a medium head. Aroma is roast, liquorice, cinnamon and ginger. Taste has oily roast and apricot throughout with cinnamon and cocoa on the finish.
