Super Pale, Smooth base a a platform for a whirlpool charge of lemon-drop, followed by a dry hop schedule of BRU-1 , Sultana and Sabro which give the beer the distinct tropical fruit aromas of bright citrus, pineapple and coconut.

Hazy yellow, big white head, which hangs around a fair while. Aroma of passion fruit, citrus, pineapple. Taste is very fresh and juicy with the citrus and tropical notes coming through well. Smooth medium body, soft carbonation. It's excellent.

Can. Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Light smooth palate with emerging superfine minerally carbonation. Light smooth malts, a very light creamy sweetness, just about right for this IPA. Okay - Lemondrop, Bru-1, Sultana (Denali) and Sabro! Whew, what a hop combo. Except... what is delivered isn't quite what was going on my head. Full marks for the Lemondrop, a light soft floral lemon opens proceedings but on the close a delightful a lemon candy and mellow lemon sherbet emerges. Just a touch of lemon peel bitterness underneath. That's me happy already but where are the other 3 hops? Denali really is recessed to the point of being impossible to find, Bru-1 even more so. A touch of smooth Sabro pineapple on the smooth semi dry finish. A light cooling pine runs throughout. Doesn't quite deliver on the super hop combo but delivers more than enough for me. A really nice combo of two of the best new hops around.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 08/11/20. Hazed golden orange with a decent just off white cap. Nose is light pee, guava, hint of pine, floral notes, melon, tangerine. Taste comprises orange pith, light weed, pine, ripe melon, papaya, faint hop spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close spiked with light weedy come juicy hop bitterness but a good overall bitter aspect to it. Grew on me ... went up 3.6 to 3.7 to 3.8 as I rated.

440ml can. Very pale hazy yellow, huge white head. Piña colada aroma, intense pineapple and coconut. Taste is very tropical, massive pineapple and coconut flavour, peach, bitter grapefruit and lemony citrus. Surprisingly light, with moderate carbonation, but the flavours are banging.
