Can. Very dark brown smooth brown head. Sweet aroma of cake frosting, chocolate cake, faint coconut, faint roasted malts. flavor is roasted malts, coconut, vanilla, coffee notes.

Keg at Grumpy Goat, Reading, Berks. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Sweet, coffee, chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla, caramel taste and aroma. Really well made stout if a little sweet. Good stuff.

On tap. Pours black with very short head. Aromas of fudgy chocolate, vanilla, and sweet roasted malts. Flavors follow same with a chocolate icing effect

440ml can. Pours jet black with a large head. Aroma is strong, bitter coffee and hazelnut. Taste has coffee to start and a hazelnut and vanilla finish.

Can at home. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are like a bitter chocolate Nutella. Sweet vanilla slightly to finish. Smooth full body.

Appearance is black, with a big brown fizzy head. Aroma is caramel, chocolate, coffee, fudgy dark malt, brownie, hints of dark fruit. Taste is smooth nutty malt, chocolate, rich coffee, chocolate cake, cocoa powder, dark roast malt, sweet nutty chocolatey finish. Some vanilla and peanut butter as it warms.
