Tap at Unorthodox. Full body, low carbo, very rich, loads of dark malts going on, chocolate, rather light roast, cocoa. Med-light amount of alcoholic warmth - just below the point of being bothersome. Coffee is rather low, a touch of hazelnut, peppers unperceivable, light vanilla. Lots going on, maybe less would be better, but a good one nonetheless.

Well this aint morningwood material, not evan a weak boner, it has some chocolat, smooth, alcoholic, but it’s a bit artificial like 99% of the omnipollo’s. Still crap, stop the fuckin’ artificial adjuncts ...

8 February 2019. Black Friday @ Dok, Ghent. Cheers to Anke! As 'EU edition'. Pours cloudy black with a lasting, thin, dark beige head; little lacing. Aroma of chocolate, candied date, caramel, shoe polish, chocolate cake, licorice, coffee liqueur, peanuts. Taste is medium to heavy malty sweet, lots of vanilla custard, marshmallow & chocolate, some coco flakes on top; light to medium roasted bitter middle counters that firm sweetness with mocha, toast, a woody touch, alcohol warming up already, and faint fruity notes of fig & date. Dryish, peppery hoppy finish mixes well with subtle chili, lingering vanilla, chocolate, toast, and a firm dash of warming whisky alcohol, almost a bit astringent. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Bold Imperial Stout, almost out of balance but I don't really care.

Thick, oily, roasty, with notes of dark chocolate, vanilla and cold coffee. Subtle peppers lingering in the aftertaste. Not bad. 3.7 --- Beer merged from original tick of (collab with) J Wakefield Brush on 06 Nov 2017 at 13:10 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8. Original review text: Pitch black pour with a tall tan head that is slow to rise to the surface. Notes of chocolate, smoke, raw cocoa, light vanilla, green peppers, coffee. Full body, smooth texture, medium to low carbonation. Pretty decent, though a bit too much green peppers for an imperial stout.
