A super hoppy brute of a beer! Hopped exclusively with Citra to produce masses of juicy citrus flavours with light notes of dank, resinous pine in the background. This is all backed up with a moderate, yet pronounced bitterness on the finish, to create a perfect balance of flavour.

BB 240925. Hazy dark orange colour, small white head and lace. Herbal, a bit fruity, juicy nose. Medium-bodied. Sweet, fruity, even a bit candish fruity flavour. Interesting flavours as this is brewed with Citra and Citra Cryo only.

Can picked up from Beyond Beer Webshop Hamburg and consumed at home Sunday 6th November 2022, cooking a Picadillo (Mexican Chilli) and making Navajo Flatbreads and also Chorizo Meatballs, we're cooking outside in the woodoven with Rhys it's dry but a little cold listening to a Rhys suggestion Rüfüs du Sol - Surrender. Pours hazy yellowy colour with a white head, very hazy. Soft moutheel, sweetness immediately but perhaps picking up a tangy fruitiness and underlying bitterness. Good, not entirely sure what style as it seems to be straddling a DNEIPA with a bit of West Coast bitterness.

Nose is orange pith, grapefruit, pine needle, grass, dank chimes, ripe melon. Taste comprises bitter tropical fruit shreds, pine needle, weed, dank stroke, grass, mango pulp, grapefruit, papaya. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with lightly aggressive juicy come lightly dankened hop bitterness. Solid DIPA with a good bitter edge.

Can. Color: Very hazy orange, white head. Aroma: Hoppy, tropical fruit, tangerine, orange. Taste: Hoppy, tangerine, sweetish ripe tropical fruit like mango, passion fruit, some pineapple, orange, melon and some chewing gum. Over moderate sweet, moderate bitterness, going to over moderate bitter at the dry-ish finish. Just over medium body, just below average carbonation. Smooth malty background. Another nice one from this nice brewery.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from HOTM. Pours soupy orange with a foamy, white head. Fairly sweet, lots of ripe tropical fruits, juicy mango and papaya, some bready pale malts, pulpy oranges, mellow rindy bitterness. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more juicy tropical fruits, low bitterness, peach, melon, mango. Solid.

Can. No mention of this being a hazy dipa by the brewer, no mention of it having NE yeast. But here we are, yet another dipa someone thinks is hazy enough to qualify because that's what the shite style guidelines say. What a fuckup this is. Anyway it is a hazy orange gold beer with a small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth sweetish malts. Citra presents here with light pine, a little spice and a slightly tangy but reasonably fresh orange vibe with a riper orange and mandarin underneath. A modicum of bitterness in the light spicy finish. Tidy and drinkable but lacks a wow factor for me.
