Can purchased in St. Pete, FL. Pours an opaque dark brown color with mahogany highlights, and a small light brown head with very good retention. Good lacing. Dark chocolate milk aroma. Dark chocolate flavor sweetened and cut by the raspberry fruit flavor. Short finish. Light body. A little thin for a stout. Pretty good candy sipper.

Hey, this is one good looking dark beer. You'd think it was on nitro but thank goodness its not. It actually has some carbonation with the sickening sweet beery thang added. Cloying, almost rude and medicinal in nature. What's the % alky? 7 %? Just asking. Yezzimm, when it pours into the mug, it looks thick and viscous and guess what? - On the palate - its the same. Yes, difficult for a stout. And, difficult for clean lager lover fer sure. However, I could say that somebody that likes those chocolate covered sweet gooey cherry balls, may like this. You know, the ones that come dozens in a flat fancy box? In teh end , even begins to smell like sweet cloying candy. Expected and disappointing. Give me a cheap pale lager to cut it back, a bit.

12 oz can into a Kasteel chalis on 24th March 2019 at my daughters in California. The body colour is very dark brown, with a ruby hue, almost black. The head a wispy beige affair. The nose and taste has a red berry front with a definite Raspberry lead, semi-tart, semi-jam like flavour wise.

12 ounce can from Total Wine Brookfield, 3/11/19. Black, large frothy brown head, good retention. Aroma of roast, lactose, caramel, smoke, mild berry. Taste is sweet and tart berries, lactose, chocolate, roast. Medium-full bodied, slick, mild bitterness, well balanced, and I'm even tempted to say decadent!

On draught at Frontier Brewing and Taproom.
Pretty black but not pitch black, small head of tannish foam, excellent lacing.
Smells of tart raspberries and milk chocolate. Nice combo.
Taste is tart but not too tart raspberries, milk chocolate sweetness, sweet and tart and it's hitting my palate very well.
Fairly light bodied with adequate carbonation.
Delicious.

Can: Charred oak, kibble, raspberry nose. Cloudy brown, medium tan head, good lace. Raspberry, charred oak, baker's chocolate. Medium body, easy carbonation. I generally don't like fruit in stouts, but Left Hand did this very well.

Can pour into tulip glass from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Appearance is opaque dark brown with nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width foamy light-brown cap of head with fair retention and sticky, soapy lacing. Aroma is nice, mellow roasted malt, lactose and whiff of berry if you know to look for it. Taste is moderately strong raspberry-dominant throughout with the base milk stout in the background, poking through here and there. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, I like the restraint on the raspberry but wish the base stout provided a bit more counterbalance. Goose that and deepen the palate a bit and they'll really have something here. Just misses.
