In 2014, Fuller’s developed its very own Brewer Street blend of coffee - and we’ve been itching to brew a beer with those rich, aromatic beans ever since. Espresso Stout is the luxurious, inky-black outcome - and if you’re not sure beer and coffee can truly go together, just wait until you give it a shot.

Keg at the London Brewers' Market. Pours deep brown with a lasting, frothy khaki head. Nice aroma, moderate roast, burnt coffee, milk chocolate. Light-medium sweet flavour with nice ashy roast, burnt toast, bittersweet cocoa, earthy hops. Light bodied with average carbonation. Somewhat dry on the finish, more ashy roast, baking cocoa, pleasant espresso. Solid.

Keg at Brewers Market. It pours jet black with a thick tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, charred, toasty, burnt toast, earth and cocoa. The taste is dry, dark chocolate, espresso coffee, charred wood, tar, charcoal, dark fruit, unami and liquorice with a dry, charred finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Decent gear.
