Bottle at home in Hackney. Aged around 5-6 years. Pours clear honey-gold, fading white bubbly topping. Light-medium sweet flavour with moderately juicy apple character, some musty cellar, light bitter skins. Medium bodied with delicate carbonation. Fairly dry finish, lightly aged apples, more peel, a little grass, faint citric note. Not bad really.

On cask at The Rat & Ratchet, pours a clear golden with a tiny head. Aroma brings out gentle barnyard funk, hay, and crisp apple skins. Flavour is fairly dry, with dry hay, farmhouse notes and crisp apple skins. Finishes lightly sweet, with hay and light farmhouse notes. Pleasant.

6.8% version on tap at The Bankers Draft, Eltham. Hazy gold pour. Nose is baked apple, touch of lychee. Taste is much the same. Quite smooth. Very easy drinking given the strength.
