Bottle sample at a tasting at Stas’ place. Thanks Stas. Clear golden. Honey, cookies, a bit of fruitiness, a bit of spiciness, alcohol, sweet and slightly tart. Decent.

33 cl bottle bought at La Merced, Rota, served in flute. Pours clear and clean pale golden. Aroma is quite unpleasant: rancid cheap white wine, horse blanket, barnyard, old artichoke. Taste is surprisingly better: sweetish, fresh, oily and slightly bitter. Sadly, the aftertaste gets that rancid feeling once more. Not my cup of tea, I’ll stick to the Valhalla tradicional (but I know quite a few people who prefer this one over the other Valhallas, truth be said.)
