From Wittisch Olten, a totally unbalanced doppel bock, simply too sweet with notes of warm alcool, giving something undrinkable, 18.07.2019

15% doppelbock... Tastes like an industrial lager, but hyperamped, very boozy, sickly sweet, very metallic finish. Not good.

clear amber colour, minimal head, whih collapses promptly leaving back only some lacing; aroma of dried apricot, honey, caramel, bread and slight soy sauce notes; taste is dominated by malty-syrupy sweetness and alcohol with some dried apricot notes; well, it definitely does not have the 'body' for this ABV

Sampled @ my one and only THT 2018. Clear amber color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly caramel, sweetish and alcoholic a bit. Hmm more alcohol in the flavor. Hmm not great.

THT July at Kwartje. Bottle. Clear copper. No head left. Sweet malts, caramel, rubber? Weird. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Over medium body. Big sweet malty grain stuff. --- Beer merged from original tick of Sharp Concept on 22 Jul 2018 at 11:55 - Score: 6

Bottle shared at THT actually July! Thanks to remALUS. Very clear bright dark golden with small off white head. Thick caramel, toffee, dough, sweet apple, light alcohol, light dried fruits, soft tart apricot, soft cognac, light tart berries. Quite sweet, strong bitter alcohol. Full bodied with alcoholic finish.

330ml bottle [courtesy of Frank from Bielefelder Biersalon]. Clear, amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, malty and boozy aroma, hints of cereals, honey, more than just whiffs of alcohol. Taste is alcoholic, sweet malty, notes of honey, hints of cereals. Almost undrinkable.

Bottle shared @ Koelschtrinker's tasting. Smooth and sticky beginning. Deep and sharp - as the beer predicts. Malty body with a sharp alcoholic ending, sticky, intense and smooth malty with bitter hints. Nice but there's no need for a 15% Doppelbock in my eyes... Not too drinkable and way too sharp alcoholic.
