Our take on a blonde beer: brewed with barley, oats and wheat. Slightly dry hopped with callista hops which give the beer a hint of peach. The beer is lagered on Californian peach wood to give it a more complex and slightly spicy touch.

Thnx Kevin ! As all Malcroys beers, the production of this is extremely limited. Appart from his own shop / own consumption, only 24 bottles were sold trough another shop. Big was his surprise when turns out that one of the last bottles in existance, seemed to have picked up Brett. Being completely sold out himself, he only had a small personal stash, and had discovered that indeed, the beer picked up Brett.
He gave me a sample, which he told up front had Brett ( so was a gusher) but allowed me to rate it, since he thought it was still quite beautifull, just not OK to sell anymore, obviously.
The gusher poured unclear, cloudy orange. big white head. Scent is full, brett, fruity, hidden hints of wood. Taste is full, brett, bit bitter. Mild sweetness. Unique wood presence, medium body, higher carbo. very fruity brett that goes very well with the beer. Normally, I score less for infection / gusher, but since it was told up front by the brewer, that wouldn't be honest, so scoring the beer as if it weren't a gusher, and brett on purpose. If I do so, I must admit it was the favorite of the day for me.
